Luxury secondhand in Fredriksberg

12:21 PM

I just came back from  two days at Copenhagen Fashion Week. So many beautiful people and so inspiring. But I took a whole afternoon to visit some of my favorite secondhand shops for designerclothing. Fist Class Secondhand at Godthåbsvej 57 and Muda Nashi,  Godthåbsvej 11 A.

Sara, the owner of First Class Secondhand is a Swedish woman, living in Copenhagen. She took over the shop a year ago and its flourishing. I found this cute, no brand black sweater with a scull on it. Right now she has Sale and I got it for 200 DKK. The shop is very cosy, yet beautiful with an amazing lamp in the ceiling. And its filled with secondhand designerwear for women. Its Fredriksberg, so its a lot of Danish brands like Malene Birger, Ganni, Custommade, but also Philip Lim, Gucci, Isabel Marant and more. Last time I was here I bought a black leather bag from Costum National, a dress from Designers remix, a mohair sweater from Acne and a blouse from Baum and Pferdgarten. Sara has very good prices due to a stable clientele and all clothes are in good condition.

To get here you simply take the Metro to Forum and walk the street right up for about 10 minutes. In the neighborhood you find many small italian places with genuin food, as well as typical Danish cafés.

Somewhat closer to the stop at Forum, there is this long, pretty small and very neat shop, Muda Nashi, meaning "No Waste" on Japanese. Somewhat less clothes but also easier to find what they have. A design collection ranging from an amazing Mulberry bag for about 5000 DKK to a tee from the Danish brand Stig P on sale for 75 DKK. I found a lightblue silk blouse, never worn, from Ganni and a white supernice blouse/shirt from Tiger of Sweden.

I invited both shop owners to take part at Finloppis in Malmö in March.

They are both worth a visit!!
